Having the right people supporting you in your endeavours and relationships make a huge difference in your life. The right people are your best assets. For example, do you have the right partner in life? Do you have the right friends? Do you have the right business partners? Do you have the right mentors? Most of us do not pay enough attention to these important questions.

You need to know who are making positive contribution, and who are bringing problems and disappointments to your life. Nurture the positive and supportive relationships, and avoid those negative people who tend to suck up all your energies.

I am not saying that you should not help people in need. By all means, there are times that you need to give a lot more to your friends because they are in difficult situations. I am talking about the people who are constantly complaining, telling you about their problems, and telling you why you can’t make it. You need to drop these relationships.

Instead, make sure you have excellent friends, coaches and mentors to give you good advice and steer you in the right direction. In the end, you have to make the efforts and sacrifice to succeed in life, but having the right people around you is essential.

So do you have the right people around you?

Good useful advice but what do you do if you married the ‘wrong’ person i.e. one who does not give support to our endeavors ?

RT, that’s a tough question to answer without knowing all the facts. However, if you are absolutely sure you married the wrong person who doesn’t support you and your endeavors, then you should seriously think of a divorce. That’s why is so important to invest the necessary time to ensure you marry the right person.
